Feeder Fix

Summary

Today I opened both hives to fix the "Bee Buffet Mistake" that I reference in the previous post. I also adjusted the angle of the boxes.

Weather

I didn't note the weather in my notes for this day, and I don't remember it. My previous day's note indicates it was supposedly wet and miserable again.

Encounter Log

• goals were to fix the bee buffets, check feeders, and adjust the angle of hives

Hives

Beeyonce (Furthest hive from house)

• I made sure the bee buffet was properly adjusted so it wasn't leaking sugar in the hive.
• I adjusted the plywood to make sure the hive would drain properly.

Beeatrice (Closest to the house)

• I made sure the bee buffet was properly adjusted so it wasn't leaking sugar in the hive.
• I adjusted the plywood to make sure the hive would drain properly.

Things to improve on

• I stood in front of Hive Beeatrice while working them, that probably annoyed them.

Things to check for next time

• Are my hives properly slanted angle-wise both front-back and side-side? Am I draining weirdly
